Sugimoto Aya LUO FU BIE Takase Haruna Emori Toru

In 1936, a former prostitute named Abe Sada murdered her lover after a night of intense sex, and castrated him so she could keep his genitalia as keepsake. Her reason: she killed him because she loved him. The incident both shocked and fascinated people across Japan, and has since inspired quite a few films including Oshima Nagisa's In the Realm of the Senses and, most recently, Mochizuka Rokuro's Johnen Sada no Ai (a.k.a. Johnen - Sada's Love). Japanese singer and actress Sugimoto Aya, who starred in Ishii Takashi's 2004 Flower and Snake remake and made headlines in 2003 for her very public divorce to escape a sexless marriage, is a femme fatale for the ages in the sexually charged Johnen Sada no Ai.
When photographer Ishida (Nakayama Kazuya) first sees Sada (Sugimoto Aya), the wife of a new acquaintance (Uchida Yuya), he can't help feeling he's met her before. His photo shoot with Sada turns quickly into a steamy affair of mind-blowing proportions. As he becomes increasingly obsessed with Sada, images from his previous life flash in the present, memories of an affair with Sada from the prewar era that ended in blood. Even as history begins to repeat itself, Ishida cannot pull himself away from Sada and her sensual touch. ~from yesasia~
